SICE to install public wireless access network in Seville

Seville City Council has turned to SICE for the installation and commissioning of a WIMAX wireless communications network to interconnect municipal buildings and public digital services

The project, in the framework of Plan 5000, will consist of commissioning a dual-ring transport network to link the eleven municipal districts, with a capacity of 300 Mbps.

There will also be a distribution network, with a capacity of 100 Mbps, to reach a further 39 municipal buildings, to link via a base station to 50 network-access subscribers.
