SICE has set up its own Prevention Service to supervise the disciplines of safety in the workplace, industrial hygiene and ergonomics, and applied psychosociology, opting for a joint prevention service for health monitoring.

This Service is part of the company's vocational-risk-prevention system, which meets the requirements of the OHSAS specification 18001:1999, “Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems”, audited and certified by an accredited independent agency.

The system adopted by SICE, which is built into the company’s general management framework, provides the basis to assure the physical safety of our employees and associates, furnishing jobs with conditions that preserve and enhance the dignity of the people who perform them, complying with all the applicable legislation on occupational-risk prevention, and undergoing regular occupational health and safety audits carried out by authorised organisations.
